The storm that would become Tropical Storm Alex left Miami flooded over the weekend, and while cars were stalled one wakeboarder took to the streets. Vic Garcia can be seen in video posted to Instagram wakeboarding through the streets of Miami after the storm. Holding onto a line that appears to be pulled by a truck, Garcia glides along the water. He even set up some obstacles for tricks. The storm lashed Florida, Cuba and the Bahamas Friday and into Saturday, dropping up to 10 inches of rain in some areas. The storm didnt organize enough to earn the name Alex until it moved back out over the Atlantic Ocean, however. Alex was the first named storm of the 2022 hurricane season, which began on June 1. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is predicting a busy season, with a likely range of 14 to 21 named storms, including three to six major hurricanes of Category 3 or higher.
