Video shows flash floods in Alabama as severe thunderstorms produced heavy rains Wednesday. The National Weather Service in Birmingham issued new flash flood warnings for parts of Clay County and Talladega County in east central Alabama early Wednesday morning, with an expected rainfall rate of 1-2 inches in one hour. Other flash flood warnings were previously in effect in central Alabama. Twitter user Rhonda Brewer shared a video recorded from her front door in Sylacauga, in Talladega County, on Wednesday. I always have flooding issues but it has never been this bad, she tweeted.
