Snow in Evergreen, CO

Published

Video shows heavy snow falling Monday night in Evergreen, Colo., a mountain town just west of Denver. Late May snow covered swaths of the Rocky Mountains over the weekend, and the cold front still hasn’t let up at the higher elevations. In the forecast for May 24, the southwestern part of the state will see high fire danger during the day, while the Colorado River Basin and Yampa River Basin could see temperatures as low as the mid-20s overnight. According to the National Weather Service, several inches of snow Tuesday could make I-70 slushy from Georgetown to Vail Pass.
