The flood threat continues in northeastern Minnesota, where water levels are still rising in the Rainy River Basin. The waters of Rainy Lake in Ranier have reached homes and businesses near the shore. Video shows Tara’s Wharf Ice Cream Shop partially underwater, and a pier completely submerged. Douglas W. Judson recorded the video in Ranier, which is just across the lake from where he lives in Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada, where he is a city councilor. According to the National Weather Service, the region could see flooding into July depending on June rain levels.
