Aircraft drops fire retardant on Bridge Fire in Santa Barbara County, CA

The Bridge Fire in California burned eight acres before firefighters stopped its forward progress Sunday night, according to Santa Barbara County Fire. Twitter user Grant Gardner captured video of an aircraft dropping orange fire retardant at around 7:45 p.m. Sunday evening. The video opens on a slightly smoky blue sky, and as the camera pans to follow the plane, the smoke gets thicker and the sky glows orange. As of Sunday night, fire officials said that no injuries have been reported and there has been no damage to structures so far. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
