The total lunar eclipse was visible early Monday morning, May 16, 2022. Often called blood moons, the moon passes through the umbra of the Earth, making the moon glow slightly red because of the blue and green light of our planet while the moon moves through the umbra.The eclipse was visible by people in South American and the eastern part of North America. This video was filmed in the Hicks area of Hardin County, Illinois by @kurtdavis and posted to his Twitter.
